Projection

Time to do some projections

House ($302,010)
Online registration = $10 (Paid)
Option fees = $2,000 (Upon selection in Oct, 2009)
10% Agreement for lease = $30,000 (Payable by CPF or HDB Grant to first timers)
3% Stamp fees = $9,000 (Payable by CPF or through Eligible Additional Housing Grant)
87% Full payment = $261,000 (Payable by CPF or HDB Loan over 30 years upon collection of keys in 3-4 years time)
Fire insurance = determined by HDB

Actually they are very manageable
in fact we are more than able to achieve this

Renovation in 3-4 years time when we get our keys ($40,000)
Overall renovation (including walls, partitions and lighting) = $20,000
4 inner sliding doors = $2,000
Bed = $4,000
TV = $4,000
Refrigerator = $1,800
Washing Machine = $1,800
Sofa = $1,000
In-built cupboards = $5,000
Carpet = $400

This is a super conservative calculations to make sure that we will have more than enough
and moreover, we will also be blessed with some of the items by various ones

but at the same time, what was mentioned above are only the necessary items excluding the other luxurious items

Applying for HDB Loan

Just realized we need to get this HDB Loan before we apply for house
so the next best thing we should do now is to get it done before the Sep!
=x

HDB only accepts online application, so this is what we will need:

- Our Passport and ICs scanned
- Payslips for the past 3 months
- CPF for the past 12 months
- Name and Address of company

After submitting online, we need to print out the application and gather all the supporting documents and send it to them within 7 days using the following channels

a) By fax to : 64903878 / 64903879 / 64903880

Note:
Group all documents relating to each HLE application and fax them at one go. Do not mix documents relating to another HLE application when faxing and do not fax two HLE applications at one go. 

b) By email to HDBCredit@hdb.gov.sg

Scan the HLE application form with the supporting documents in jpeg format (minimum resolution 150 dpi) in separate files. Attach them in your email indicating your HLE number as the subject. Note that each email is restricted to 2 MB. 

c) By drop-off box

You can submit the HLE application form with the supporting documents in the drop-off box labelled “Loans” next to the taxi-stand at HDB Hub

d) By Post

Send the completed form together with supporting documents to :

           Estate Admin & Property Department
           Housing & Development Board
           Toa Payoh Central Post Office
           P O Box No. 071
           Singapore 913103 

Better get this done quickly
think got to do this by wednesday so that got time to bring down the thing by the following tuesday after our trip to Batam

First Balloting! =)

1st Consideration: Convenience
It has a very good location, situated beside the MRT station and the bus interchange.




2nd Consideration: Comfort
the structures are constructed in a way where they are not very cramp together, but there are comfortable distant separated by small gardens.



3rd Consideration: Design
The best is that we can get the one with balcony! i'm so gonna love this place, a place that belongs to just the 2 of us. =)
and most importantly, though not a fully glass house, they have got low windows! =D
